Can you legally bring your medical marijuana in airports?

There was some recent news coverage which seemed to conclude that medical marijuana cardholders could feel free to move about the country, because airports were allowing the possession and use of marijuana by state cardholders. While it seems there may be a couple of specific airports to explicitly hold such a policy, our advice is to assume your card will offer you no protection whatsoever, and prohibition is in full effect. Unless you have the time and money and desire to fight federal charges, of course.

Our friend vaporgirl recently received this email back from TSA:

Letter from TSA about marijuana in airports

Be careful out there.
